i'm sitting on my bed, in my room watching the third season of the OC and appreciating the pouring rain right outside my window.'why is she not working?' -you ask? because i slept almost a grand total of one hour last night. i seriously woke up almost every half hour to cough the house down. like horrid throat-shredding, gut wrenching, flem-filled coughs. gross right?horrible horrible horrible. when my aunt came into my room in the morning to check on me, i had this really pathetic wheezy little voice. she could barely hear me. so she called my supervisor and told them i cannot work today and tmr. i'm amazed they haven't fired me yet xP i've taken so many sick days...
she oso took the day off work to force me into going to the doctors. which i finally did.
stupid doctors. we waited almost 2+ hours just to see him for less than 5 minutes. (but he's really nice) ^^
i'm now officially not allowed to eat peanuts, spicy food, chicken, any dairy products and cold drinks. my aunt added biscuits, chips and dry foods to the list. i am now living off a diet of porridge and soupy stuff. great. >< i hate being sick. there's so much stuff i wanna eat right now. hu die bing (sp?), tu tu queh (peanut peanut peanut!) oh man... cravings cravings cravings.
On the plus side, i get to enjoy the OC season 3 which i haven't watched in awhile... indulge in some 'me' time, like painting my nails and toenails ^_^ and right now it's rainign really heavily. like so heavy that everything-outside-looks-like-it's-covered-in-white-mist-heavy. There's loud thunder, a bit of lightning. it's gorgeous ^^
I love this kind of weather. i feel like going out and walking in the rain... but my aunt would kill me. Yes, i do get scared of my aunt sometimes. She's really tiny, but she can be really scary.
Big things come in small packages. ^_~
Dear's knocking off early at 2pm to come see me. Little does he know that i'm cooking him some liang cha for him. herbal-dried-stuff kinda liang cha. i don't think it'll taste really nice, but it's supposed to be good... so i'll just try and get him to drink it. the key word here is 'try' lol.
Still, i guess hopefully my effort will count for smth ^^
I'm gonna sign off now and let my lappy rest for awhile... so ttfn!
