i'm sitting on my bed, in my room watching the third season of the OC and appreciating the pouring rain right outside my window.'why is she not working?' -you ask? because i slept almost a grand total of one hour last night. i seriously woke up almost every half hour to cough the house down. like horrid throat-shredding, gut wrenching, flem-filled coughs. gross right?horrible horrible horrible. when my aunt came into my room in the morning to check on me, i had this really pathetic wheezy little voice. she could barely hear me. so she called my supervisor and told them i cannot work today and tmr. i'm amazed they haven't fired me yet xP i've taken so many sick days...
she oso took the day off work to force me into going to the doctors. which i finally did.
stupid doctors. we waited almost 2+ hours just to see him for less than 5 minutes. (but he's really nice) ^^
i'm now officially not allowed to eat peanuts, spicy food, chicken, any dairy products and cold drinks. my aunt added biscuits, chips and dry foods to the list. i am now living off a diet of porridge and soupy stuff. great. >< i hate being sick. there's so much stuff i wanna eat right now. hu die bing (sp?), tu tu queh (peanut peanut peanut!) oh man... cravings cravings cravings.
On the plus side, i get to enjoy the OC season 3 which i haven't watched in awhile... indulge in some 'me' time, like painting my nails and toenails ^_^ and right now it's rainign really heavily. like so heavy that everything-outside-looks-like-it's-covered-in-white-mist-heavy. There's loud thunder, a bit of lightning. it's gorgeous ^^
I love this kind of weather. i feel like going out and walking in the rain... but my aunt would kill me. Yes, i do get scared of my aunt sometimes. She's really tiny, but she can be really scary.
Big things come in small packages. ^_~
Dear's knocking off early at 2pm to come see me. Little does he know that i'm cooking him some liang cha for him. herbal-dried-stuff kinda liang cha. i don't think it'll taste really nice, but it's supposed to be good... so i'll just try and get him to drink it. the key word here is 'try' lol.
Still, i guess hopefully my effort will count for smth ^^
I'm gonna sign off now and let my lappy rest for awhile... so ttfn!

I'm sick...... and now my dear's sick too. >< he probably caught it off me =_=" he spent so much time taking care of me, even when i was worried that he'd catch my illness. now i guess he has...
feels guilty.
later on i'm going to go online and look up medicines or stuff that might help him. anyone got any suggestions?
I'm still hacking up half a lung. Can't stop coughing. Runny/blocked nose (seriously, take now for example: one side of my nose is runny while the other is completely blocked. wierd or what??)
Still.. today at least got a bright side... i finally met song ee (aka soggy)... who i just realised i forgot to ask how to pronounce his name xP something i meant to ask him. he spotted me in my BT uniform at Vivo city and after some misunderstandings finally met up at city hall, then went down to tampines mall tgt (gosh... i haven't been there in ages ><). Also got a great oreo crush slushie type thing frm sweet talk... altho i think it would have been better without the pearls. ><
soggy: it was great to meet ya ^^
Now i'm off for a shower (it's so bloody hot =_=") and gonna be force-fed some more meds.

wow! this is my hundreth post! ^^ feels proud!I woke up a lot earlier than i usually do for work due to the massive hacking coughing fits i had spastically through the night xP but i don't really have much to do as i was planning to finish up cleaning my room (and since it's all done...) and having more time to get ready, but i still have plenty of time left so i thought i'd come online and update...My cough has gotten a lot worse, but on the other hand, i no longer have a headache or a sore throat (yap, the fever has long since departed). i think i disturbed my aunt and uncle a bit during the night cause my coughing was really loud *paiseh... oso early in the morning my aunt came in with warm water and a huge spoonful of pi pa gao for me >< ... i shall be bringing that stuff with me to work today xPI kind of over-reacted last night to a really small thing. I have no idea why... it wasn't even a big deal, but at that time, talking on the phone i really have no idea why i felt so irritated and a little hurt... does that ever happen to other normal people? lately my mood's been all over the place; sometimes up, sometimes down and sometimes just flat, in between the two. I have to admit though, my mood's been more down than up recently - i have no idea why. Maybe i'm depressed and i don't know it. ><Anyway... i'm sorry.

woke up this morning to a really bad cough and my eyes all swollen up and red from crying so much last night ><the most important bit xPtoday off to a great start tho cause guess wat? my dear took the day off to come over to my place bringing offerings of prata! hehe... yum yum yum!note: he was totally against it cause he said it's a really heaty dish and wouldn't be good for my throat which is still itchy and sore, but i insisted... i've been eating 'good' food for awhile now and it doesn't seem to be helping so i'll take my chances lol!anyway we've now finished eating and are watching the O.C... so i'm going off to devote my tym wit my hubby and the tv hehe... bubye!

yestd went out with my whole family on my mum's side to go bai bai... i felt better in the morning, but as i was leaving to go pray to my ancestors, started to feel a bit sick again... then i got into the car and it was hell ><the choa chu kang chinese cemetary was so darned far away! and i felt like there was no ac in the back. plus we had to drive really slow to keep together and not lose one another cause not everyone knew the way to the cemetary.finally reached a food centre opposite the stadium and ate tang hoon with sugar cane drink... really nice! even though i dint eat much cause i was so worried i'd sick it up later.then went to go bai bai. when we finally reached the cemetary and reached my great-grandfather's headstone, it started to pour ><>
Then we all squeezed into the 3 measly cars and waited ages for the rain to stop (which it dint really) but when we thot it was starting to slow, a few of my aunts nd uncles went down to start burning first, but then as we were all getting ready to go join them and start praying, the rain started up again. Pretty soon after that they returned and told us that it was over and to go hme now... lol
So it ws actually pretty much a wasted trip ><
Then that night i met up with Da and we went to walk around Heeren for awhile before eating at NYDC (yum yum yum!) then heading over to cineleisure to go see these really cool watches (>squees...) and also walk around... during which dear bought me this pair of shoes i'd been eyeing for quite awhile! (thx baby)...
Today... again go bai bai but at the temple this time... hopefully things go more smoothly today hehe ^^
